Option 3 — Buy from Auction
Provide the following information to MINNY MIMI via Facebook DM:

Before bidding:

  • Research the car and estimated total costs.

  • Ensure funds are available, including the required deposit.

After I buy a car, what happens next?

Once payment is complete, EATZ handles all export-related tasks, including:

  • Deregistration

  • Export certificate creation/translation

  • Invoicing

  • Shipment scheduling with a freight carrier

When the freightliner is booked and loaded, you will receive a Bill of Lading confirming your car is officially on the ship.
After receiving this, contact your import broker.

Your broker will:

  • Communicate with the shipping company

  • Provide an estimated arrival date

  • Notify you when the vehicle is released at the port

  • Provide all import documentation (EPA/NHTSA clearance, etc.)

Vehicle Pickup:
You may either hire a transporter or pick the car up yourself.
If you choose to retrieve it personally, be aware:

  • Each port has different entry requirements (TWIC card, paid escort, or $1M+ insurance).

  • The car will arrive with very little fuel.

  • The battery is often discharged due to ocean travel—bring a jump box.

  • Know the closest station with highest-octane or ethanol-free fuel.

We currently do not have an official EATZ-recommended broker. Please use Google or search prior member recommendations in the Facebook group.
